Shipping and Return Policy
Because Sporting Goods Direct. works with many manufacturers and international sources, delivery time and shipment availability may vary from one product to the next. However, the vast majority of our merchandise is shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground within THREE TO FIVE BUSINESS DAYS of ORDER PLACEMENT.
If you desire to ship an item outside the United States (including Alaska & Hawaii), please contact us in advance to confirm accurate shipping costs. Some items within are Warehouse are directly imported from our overseas warehouses. In these cases, we may require Express Air delivery services only. Also, some items are hand-crafted and require 2-6 weeks for production time.
SHIPPING RATES
The shipping prices are for the 48 contiguous United States. Alaska and Hawaii need to be calculated manually, via support ticket request. By default, we charge at or below UPS Ground rate fees based on product weight. You may verify this by visiting http://www.ups.com. Certain products may have shipping costs that are calculated via "flat rate".
RETURNED MERCHANDISE & WARRANTY COVERAGE
All damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products must be informed with 48 hours of package delivery. For most merchandise, items are warranted by the manufacturer for a minimum of 1 year. Hand-signed sports memorabilia may not be returned after 30 days under any circumstances. Please do NOT ship back unauthorized returns. Otherwise, the return claim may be automatically rejected and SGD "Sporting Goods Direct" customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
Alexandra Jordan Designer Hand Bags are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 60 days from the date of purchase.
No merchandise may be returned under any circumstances unless said merchandise is defective. Any unauthorized returns will not necessarily be re-stocked and/or refunded. Please note that payment refunds occur only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement.
CLAIMS FILED WITHIN 48 HOURS
As a reminder, all damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products must be informed with 48 hours of package delivery. Otherwise, return claims may be delayed and/or rejected. SGD will not offer financial reimbursement for returned non-defective products.
CLAIMS FILED AFTER 48 HOURS
All return merchandise claims filed after 48 hours of original delivery date are strictly defined as a manufacturer warranty issue. Customers are fully responsible for return shipping costs, regardless of whether merchandise is found to be defective. Abusive wear and tear of products may not necessarily qualify a returned product for warranty coverage. If merchandise is found to be defective, SGD will be responsible for replacement product shipping costs. Certain merchandise may not qualify for return claim authorization after 30 days of delivery receipt (see above).
RETURN POLICY ADJUSTMENTS
The following return policy adjustments apply to manufacturer-specific inventory:
VFiber -- Authorization to return product(s) must be obtained in advance and must be made within 5 (five) days of receipt of merchandise. A return RMA form must be signed in order to validate your return. Pictures for defective parts must also be received within 5 days of receipt of merchandise. Failure to do so may forfeit your privilege to return/exchange the products. All cancelled orders for custom products are subject to a 25% (twenty-five percent) cancellation fee. There is no restocking fee for returns or exchanges made within 5 days of receipt and in original packaging. Products altered in any way may not be returned or exchanged unless permitted by the Seller. All products that are approved for return after 5 days are for order credit only and may incur a 25% cancellation/restocking fee. All products returned must be in the same condition as it was originally delivered by the seller to buyer. Special or custom-made orders are not refundable. All electrical or mechanical parts are non-returnable. Merchandise signed for is assumed delivered and no shortage claims will be considered unless noted on delivery ticket at time of delivery. Damaged-shipped merchandise must claim with the freight carrier. Original receipt must be presented for credit or exchange. NO RECEIPT NO REFUND. Exchanges on poor fitment of body kits will only be given after careful review and inspection. Pictures of the fitment or part will be requested in most cases. No returns on any parts that have been used, installed, modified, or disassembled. All returns must be sent to Seller freight prepaid and insured by Buyer. No refund or credit on labor or freight charges. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Any refused shipments do not necessarily constitute the right to any refund credit.
